Teenagers and adolescents juggle and manage so many expectations and pressures - pressures ranging all the way from academic performance to social and peer pressures. It is important to begin talking about this and find ways to navigate through the pressures in order to emerge with a good sense of self and balance. In light of this we are excited to present 'Mindfulness and Stress Management for Teens,' an important event which hopes to be fun, practical and insightful. Limited spaces available, please register soon!

Salam alaikum,

We pray this email finds you in the best of health and imaan.

It is our pleasure to introduce to you the Children’s Tabligh Committee, which is new a subcommittee of the KSIMC of Birmingham that will cater to the needs of the communities’ children aged 0-18.

Some of the services the Children's Tabligh Committee will aim to provide are -

  • Childhood Health and Development
  • Spiritual Growth
  • Resource Directory
  • Advice, Support and Signposting

We are officially launching the committee during the main Jamaat program on Tuesday the 4th of April 2017 inshaAllah, so....

In the meantime, we need YOUR help!

Any Jamaat activity is not possible without the crucial support of dedicated and committed volunteers. The CTC is currently recruiting both male and female volunteers to serve as full time committee members as well as part time volunteers to help with their events on an ad-hoc basis.

If you are willing and able to volunteer and help the CTC achieve their goal of creating a healthy, happy and safe learning and development environment for children, then please register your interest with us today! Registration form can be found here. Once registered, we will be in touch with you in due course with further details.

Please note, all successful volunteers will be required to undergo a DBS check and volunteering opportunities will only be offered subject to DBS clearance.

The children of the community are our collective responsibilities, and we cannot do this without you.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

With Salams and Duas,
