Introduction

وَقَالَ الرَّسُولُ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي اتَّخَذُوا هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ مَهْجُورًا

"And the Messenger has said: 'O my Lord, indeed my people have treated this Quran as a forsaken thing'." (25:30)

Qur'an teaching in the Muhammadi Madrasah is centred around four linked disciplines:

• Qira'at - Recitation

• 'Ulum al-Qur'an - Qur'anic Sciences
  Theory of scriptural revelation, history of the Qur'anic revelation, the transcription and recording of the Qur'an, abrogation of verses.

Resources
We have gathered together a selection of Qur'an resources for teachers, parents and students to use. Resources from outside the Shi'a Ja'fari school are marked (~) and those which require payment are marked (£).
