Due to changes in circumstances, the Muhammadi Madrasah is short of staff for several roles including following roles. These teaching and non-teaching roles are important to ensure our youngsters have the opportunity to have a consistent role model to help answer their questions and guide them through a key period of their lives. We urge people to consider putting their names forward asap.

Starting Sept 2016:

Primary Department Positions:

In the Primary Department we are looking for individuals to fill the following roles:

Shadow Lower Primary Coordinator

We are looking for a unique individual with experience and passion in children's Islamic Education to shadow the department coordinator with a view to taking over from January 2017.

Lower Primary Lead Teachers

Due to several teachers being on or leaving for maternity leave we are currently in need of some Lower Primary Teachers to take the main teaching positions. A history of teaching either Qur'an or Dinyat (Islamic Studies) is vital, and a weekly commitment would be expected.

Qur'an & Dinyat Assistants

Both Lower & Upper Primary are looking for teaching assistants to either assist in creating resources (not requiring weekly Madrasah attendance) or in-class teaching assistants to help in the classroom (weekly or alternate weeks).

Secondary Department Positions:

Shadow Department Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to shadow the department coordinator with a view to taking over from January 2017.

There have been some exciting new developments delivered this year including a new trial curriculum for S4. Click here for the job description.

Teacher of Secondary Girls Ethics and Law (older age group - 13-14 yrs)
Teacher of Secondary Boys Ethics and Law (younger age group 11-12 yrs)

Due to staff leaving the country we are looking for a few teachers for ethics and law to cover subjects like Aqaid / Philosophy for the older age group and buloogh issues for the younger boys (including in Primary). Both these areas are very important to the youngsters and so we are looking for confident / knowledgeable role models to support these students. Without your support, unfortunately, the classes will not be able to run.

Special Projects Coordinator

As part of enhancing the student experience, we are looking for a dedicated individual to support part-time in organising competitions and external trips for our students. The person will be responsible for covering all tasks end to end from developing, designing, delivering and evaluating the special projects.

It is expected that this role will not require a full-time commitment, but the full delivery of any special project.

If you are interested in any of these roles or want to know more please contact Hasnain Panjwani on 07775439048 for Secondary positions or Shakila Mehgjee at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for Primary positions
