Some feedback from participants:
“It was insightful learning how to plan with the framework we learnt at the training – it has made an impact in how I will be planning my lessons from now on Insha’Allah”
“As a first time teacher I feel that the course really helped me to understand myself as a teacher and the things I need to do in order to effectively conduct a class. The numerous activities that we took part in helped me explore different ways in which I can make the class interesting for my students. Furthermore the course allowed me to really understand my students and the ways in which they learn as individuals and as a class. I highly recommend this course for all teachers as it really changed my whole perspective of teaching. The most impactful moment for me was when I realized that every learner is different and its most important to connect to them heart to heart.”
“The MCE training was extremely enlightening, attending it allowed me to improve my social skills as well as equipping me with the skills needed to be an ideal teacher. I really enjoyed the sessions and would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in improving their teaching skills.”
“The course was an eye opener, interesting and informative. I learnt a lot of new ideas about learning styles, planning skills and teaching techniques by using different types of resources. It was also simple and easy to understand. I really enjoyed the course and would recommend all teachers to attend. May Allah swt reward the whole MCE team in abundance. Ameen.”
“The teaching skills programme was very informative and insightful. It made me think from the child’s perspective. It made me realise my responsibility as a teacher and the effects and impact it leaves on childrens futures. It raised awareness of inclusion and should be made compulsory for all teachers. It made me realise it is vital to understand children are individuals and they have different ways of learning. Focus more on how children learn rather then how to teach.”
“The course was inspiring in that it helped me understand my responsibility as a teacher and the degree of influence I have on my students. The course also taught and equipped me with the skills and tools of how to teacher effectively taking into account different student learning styles and lesson planning techniques.”
“An invaluable experience from start to finish. A very comprehensive course yet easily understandable. I gained a wealth of ideas for lesson planning, teaching techniques and needs of learners”
