Election Process:
During the tea break there will be the opportunity to discuss the future and also nominate people to stand for the posts available. These nominations will be placed in a box.
Each nominee will be asked to make a 2 min speech (even if there are not enough to fill all positions).
If required voting will take place and the new committee elected.
Positions available (each male + female):
1 Chair / Vice chair
4 committee members of age 17 +
1 committee member of age 14 - 17
Total = 12.
Nominations will also be accepted from those who cannot make it on the day, however this MUST be backed up by a short email indicated that the person wishes to stand for the position. We hope that there will be much enthusiasm and interest in attending and taking up positions for the AYC term 2010 - 2012.
After the AGM we hope to have some entertainment available like MOTD in the SZ sports hall on a projector and Table Tennis.
We are looking for some help in organising these, if you are interested in setting up the projector and sorting out connections etc pls do contact us. It would be much appreciated and I think we would all enjoy it.
