The Ladies Committee are pleased to inform Qur'an Khani classes for girls once again this month of Ramadhan IA. To facilitate targeted teaching and help the girls learn in a conducive environment, we will divide the girls into 3 age groups as follows:
- 6-10 years
- 11-16 years
- 17 – 21 years
In addition to learning how to recite the Holy Qur'an, groups A and B will be taught about the various animals mentioned in the Qur'an, what Suras they feature in, what their significance is and how they helped the Prophets. Group C will concentrate on Tajweed.
Towards the end of the Holy month, a competition will be held and trophies presented to the winners and runners-up of each group. We will also have a fun Qur'an Khani day where the girls will apply henna and decorate jewellery boxes!
This is a golden opportunity for our children and youth to learn the Qur'an (both recitation and educational lessons) and we encourage you to enrol them for the classes.

Alternatively, please fill in the registration form at the Ladies Treasure's desk and hand it to any of the Qur'an Khani members by 1st of Ramadhan.
